Most sites like this one do not tell you where the words came from. This page does, including the parts that are not flattering.
Who is responsible
Luna is made and run by DayDreamFactory, a one-person app studio, which also makes the LunaTarot app. There is no editorial team and no roster of astrologers. One person is answerable for everything on this site, and you can reach them through the contact page.
How the text is produced
The readings are written by a large language model. That is true of the daily horoscopes, the dream dictionary, the tarot card meanings and the birth chart interpretations.
Before anything is saved it has to pass automatic checks on length and structure. Anything that comes back too short, or collapsed into a single paragraph, is discarded rather than published, and the entry is generated again on the next run. This is not a formality — batches genuinely fail. In one run of the tarot meanings, fifteen of the seventy-eight cards were rejected on the first pass and had to be produced again.
A human does not read every entry before it goes up. The corpus runs to roughly a hundred and sixty thousand words, and it has been reviewed by sampling rather than in full. If you find something wrong, garbled or offensive, telling us is genuinely the fastest way it gets fixed.
What the horoscopes are based on
Each daily horoscope is written against the real sky for that date — the Moon's sign and the notable aspects between planets. Where the position is not certain, the instruction is to write about the mood of the day rather than invent a transit. A reading that names a specific aspect should be one that actually occurs.
The birth chart is different: it is not written at all. It is calculated from the date, time and place you enter, using a tropical zodiac and Placidus houses. The wording attached to each placement is prepared in advance and selected to match your chart. Nothing about your birth details is stored — see the privacy policy.
What this is not
This is written for interest and reflection. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it should not be used in place of any of them. Astrology and tarot are not sciences, and nothing here predicts what will happen to you. The quizzes are not clinical instruments and do not measure anything.
If you are dealing with something serious, please talk to someone qualified to help with it.
Corrections
Mistakes get fixed rather than quietly left. If you spot an error — a card meaning that is wrong, a transit that does not happen, a dream entry that reads badly — write to us through the contact page and say which page it is on. Corrections to individual entries appear within a day of being made, because pages refresh on their own schedule.
