The Sun

Things get simpler when you arrive.

You have a directness that other people find like fresh air. Not because your life is easy — because you have decided that warmth is worth extending regardless, and you extend it before checking whether it will be returned.

Being the bright one has a shadow: people stop asking how you are. They assume. You have let that stand more often than you should, partly because being the reliable warmth is a role you know how to play.

The Sun is the plainest card in the deck. Everything is lit, nothing is hidden. It suits you. Just remember the card shows a child on a horse in full view — visible, not performing.
