You have been up and you have been down, and somewhere in there you stopped taking either personally. Things turn. You have seen it enough times to stop bracing.
This makes you unusually calm in other people’s emergencies and occasionally too calm in your own. Not everything is a season. Some things are a decision, and waiting for them to turn on their own is just waiting.
